Ford Super Duty Tire Guide
Tire Sizes, Types & Replacement Guide for F-250, F-350 & F-450

Ford Super Duty Tire Sizes by Trim
Ford Super Duty trucks handle the heaviest towing and hauling in the Ford lineup, and tires are the foundation of that capability. Every Super Duty tire is LT-rated (Light Truck) with heavy-duty construction designed for high payloads and trailer loads. Choosing the right load range, tread pattern, and size is essential for safety and performance under load.

Tire Tips for Your Super Duty
- Every Super Duty tire should be LT-rated with Load Range D or E — passenger-rated (P-metric) tires cannot safely handle Super Duty weights
- Dually (DRW) trucks use six tires total and the unique 19.5-inch size limits your brand options — plan ahead for availability
- All-terrain tires on the Tremor provide excellent traction but may wear faster than highway tires under heavy towing
- When replacing tires, always match all positions — mixing worn and new tires on a Super Duty under load is a safety risk
- Tire pressure is critical on Super Duty trucks — check and adjust based on load (door jamb sticker shows loaded vs. unloaded pressures)
- Budget $250-400+ per tire for quality LT-rated Super Duty tires — dually owners need six at a time
